As I've been following what the Democrats and their ilk have been up to recently, I'd like to offer the following campaign headline:
Dems to Al Qaida: When We Win, You Win!!!Oh, did we hurt someone's feelings? Get over it or get used to it or stop pretending that "we support our troops so long as they're being used a social workers or wearing UN helmets" means anything.

Just to say hello...
Did anyone really think the House Dems wouldn't get their agenda through? Was there anything the House Repubs could have done? Or even bother trying to do?
Anyone besides me think Gerry Ford was a pretty 2nd rate president?
How many lefties developed religion long enough to pray for something bad to happen to Michelle Malkin while she was in Iraq?
So Obama admits he did cocaine at one time - remember when it was a big deal when the candidate in question was Dan Quayle or Dubya Bush?
Cancha just wait for Hillary C to lose her temper now that she's running for President?
Thanks to that awful golbal warming, my heating bill last month was probably at least a hundred dollars less than it would have been. If only Al Gore had been there to help!

They're back..!
You know how lefties never give up - they're still trying to prove that Anita Hill was the one telling the truth.
Now Human Rights Watch is claiming that that story about Israel hitting two ambulances with missles last July is true.
I will update this from time to time, but here is a start: they still claim that Israeli missiles hit the two ambulances, but they were smaller missiles that had been claimed. Problem one: they mention the SPIKE missile as a candidate. SPIKE is a small missile, but look at this YouTube video to see what kind of damage one of these does to a tank and ponder what it would do to an ambulance. Problem two: HRW also suggests something called DIME, which they think the Israelis might have, but here's a description from what might be politely called a Jewish AntiZionist Site:
Does either kind of missile (and HRW doesn't really offer any evidence that Israel has DIME type weapons) fit the picture? You know, the miraculously round hole in the roof, right in the middle of the red cross?

So from a purely layperson's perspective, this weapon seems designed to kill anything within a 12-25 foot radius (depending on which source you believe) and not kill anything outside it. But unlike other more conventional weapons with less lethality, it would essentially leave almost nothing or no one alive within that sphere.

Not dead, not sick, not even too busy. Just lazy. Maybe I should be a Democrat. Nah, being lazy is easy, intentionally driving down one's own real level of intelligence I don't think I can handle.
Here, I'll throw you a new joke.
Butch was the pirate captain's first mate and Toad sewed the pirate captain's clothes. Butch warned Toad that the captain's new breeches were too tight. Toad insisted they were fine, but they split open the first time the captain tried to bend over. Butch took them back to be fixed and he said, "Aye, Toad, you sew."
Ha.

The Yahoo! main page has this interesting news item: Democrats will ask GOP for support on wage hike, tax cuts. Click on it and you get this news story. Okay, all fine and well, but why did they see the need to slip in this line?
There's also this cute quote from Harry Reid (D - No Scandals here, so stop looking):
Here is an article the Senator might want to glance at.
I'll be back...
Speaking in the wake of GOP sex and corruption scandals that contributed to the Democratic sweep of both houses of Congress in the midterm elections, Reid emphasized his party's plans for open and scandal-free government. Is a graduate of the Oliver Willis School of Journalism working there? And I know than I'm not the only one who remembered Bill Clinton promising "the most ethical administration ever" (And it's not a citation from a rightwing source, so you'll note.)
There's also this cute quote from Harry Reid (D - No Scandals here, so stop looking):
"There are millions of Americans suffering from debilitating diseases like Parkinson's and diabetes that advances in stem cell research could potentially treat," Reid said, "if only we in Washington would allow it to expand."

Thought of the moment: how do we deal with personal scandals of politicians? Off hand, it seems that we can't: almost everyone can be accused of something so there's probably no hope of running only pure-as-snow candidates. On the other hand, bringing up various Dems' ethical or personal lapses seems to get no traction in the MSM (which many average people clearly still get much of their news and news-type opinion from) and brings charges of 'politics or personal destruction' (or whatever the Dems call it when it applies to their behaviors.)
It would be nice if everyone could agreed to limit personal accusations to relatively recent years; and to things that are out-of-the-ordinary (like it or not, people do stupid things when in their teens and twenties) and to things that seriously illegal or immoral (as opposed to referring to someone as 'macaca'.)
Don't know if it a realistic goal, though, in a world in which one side cannot accept losing an election without screaming fraud.
I do hope that the Bush Admin has the will to play quid-pro-quo with the congressional Dems when the Dems start investiagting anything they can possibly think of.

I will forget about the fact that I said the Repubs would hold both Houses of Congress, and in proper prognosticator fashion, make some new predictions.
First, I was watching ABC's Good Morning America today and I imagine the MSM is kicking off its campaign to bamboozle us into thinking we need to sign the Kyoto Treat and otherwise agree to accept a variety of Balls & Bhains on behalf of Global Warming.
Second, I suspect the Dems' strategy for Iraq is to pull out the troops, let the situation turn into a fiasco, and then have Al Gore (running for president again) tell us that this wouldn't have happened if he hadn't had the 2000 election stolen from him. Either that or US troops get to wear blue UN helmets while the Iranians take over half the country.
